A beautiful poem on 'Memory'

Why does She knock on my door
Every time it rains,
Every time the wind whispers in my years,
Every time I watch a leaf fall down-
Memory.
That treacherous witch.

She comes in disguises
Déjà vu.
Whenever I breathe in a fragrance,
Turn around in a crowd,
Or hear a song.
She steps in, ever so lightly.

Whenever I gaze at the sky,
See a child smile
Or hear the waves hum,
She closes in on me.
In an unguarded moment
She tramps on me.
She walks all over my mind
Till my eyes sting
And my knees go weak,
Till my heart hurts
So much that I feel the pain
Creeping to the tips of my toes.

Speechless

The mysteries shrouded
Over the frozen river
The wind concealed
Essence of direction
And finally superseding
The natural oeuvre
Of 'musical equity'
He killed him
And asked
Why are you killed?
The speechlessness replied
Haven't you existed?

...and tomorrow is today

"Ive been wrong a lot these days"
And life can be lived in so many ways
Ya Allah, I pray
That You never lead me astray

Not fulfilling what I promised or what they say
And when someone in the Muslim community says "Blown away"
People run away
No one would stay
Nothing is black or white, everything is grey

All people say when you ask how they're doing is "Okay"
While you know there's something more to that on their tray

And I keep imagining the bay,
listenin to the Fray
Like they would bring back yesterday
and tomorrow is today
Trying not to be swoon away
by exams and stressful crap that goes none stop-everyday
Cycling routines that would only make some sense when I pray
When the time comes, six feet under I'll lay
